I’ve been going to conferences for 35 years. Most of them have been seriously boring. SERIOUSLY. I created the eMetrics Summit so people who were just discovering web analytics could some together and invent a profession: Digital Analytics.
Today, analytics is the heart of marketing and it was time to pump up the volume, time to reinvigorate the field and time to bring new technologies to light.

Jim Sterne sold business computers to first-time owners in the 1980s, consulted and keynoted about online marketing in the 1990’s, founded a conference and a professional association around digital analytics in the 2000’s and recently published his twelfth book, Artificial Intelligence for Marketing: Practical Applications.
