Bio:
I have been in the analytics world for ten wonderful years, despite not having planned on entering it in the first place! I attended the University of Chicago with the aim to study medicine, later entering medical school with a focus on emergency medicine. After two years, I decided to take a gap year and found a digital analyst role in a small startup in London. I absolutely fell in love with my job and decided to never return to medicine again. From that point on, I entered the digital analytics community, soaking in as much as I could from Measurecamp, the digital analytics community on Twitter, and all the possible blogs I could read in a day. After a stint in an agency, I landed at Hilton, where I lead the EMEA digital and product analytics team for four years. Afterwards, I decided it would be a good time to get a deeper understanding of my stakeholders’ worlds, and began leading performance marketing analysts and teams at a few scale-ups around the UK. I am now the head of data science and insight analytics at Dojo, a fintech based in London which specialises in card payments and restaurant queuing solutions. My team specialises on everything from risk & AML, people & HR, to customer and growth data. In my spare time, I am obsessed with my peleton, running, and try to travel to a new country as much as possible. If you want to talk data management strategy, scaling teams, or moving the business up the analytics maturing curve, definitely hit me up!
